In Maureillas we have all you need to ensure that you really enjoy your holiday.

We are seconds away from the centre and we have

• El Tap Bar (at lunchtimes).
• El Tap Restaurant at night (seasonal variations in opening hours). The food is wonderful here and during the Summer there is a large terrace looking on to the village square so everybody sits outside.
• There is another bar in the main street and during the day you can have coffees and watch the world go by. In summer they have 'grillades' at the weekends.
• We have a paper shop, two mini supermarkets, two bakers, a Post Office, a hairdressers, a butchers and a wine merchants (lovely organic wine available here too).
• There is a large park 'Prat de la Farga' which has swings etc, a boulodrome and an assault course. During the Summer months there is outdoor entertainment here every week.
• The second weekend in October there is an Autumn fair.

Maureillas las Illas (pop 2,207) and the snow-capped Canigou Mountain (2,784m).

Le Clocher de Maureillas (17thC). This is in the square opposite El Tap Restaurant.
