Maureillas las Illas is a typically French/Catalan village with 2,350 inhabitants. It has all that you need with regard to local amenities so if you don't fancy getting into your car then spend some time here.
Stroll around the village with its old 3 storey houses and traditional terracotta pan tiled rooftops.

Just a couple of minutes walk will bring you to the 2 bakeries in the village. Whilst here you will also find 'une pizzeria' for take away pizzas. 'La Presse' for sweets, newspapers and magazines. 'Alimentation Generale' a food store. 'Domaine Pla de l'Arque' is the local wine merchant.LA BOUCHERIE
